Roasted chicken drumsticks and caramelized with maple syrup

This recipe is perfect as it gets ready in 15 minutes and you just have to prepare the filling, drink tea or coffee, calling others to prepare the table, all this quietly, while the cooked chicken.

This recipe is one of those that I do it again because the time spent ratio / result is particularly interesting, the kind of favorite recipe for a mother not desperate family.

Roasted chicken drumsticks and caramelized with maple syrup

Recipe adapted from that of Delia Smith in his book "Chicken"

Ingredients for 8 drumsticks or 4 people

2 tbsp. tablespoons maple syrup
75 ml red wine
4 tbsp. soy sauce to
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. heaped tablespoons tomato paste
1 tsp. level coffee ground ginger
2 cloves garlic, crushed
4 drops of Tabasco

Some watercress leaves to serve

Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and lemon juice.
Place drumsticks in a large baking dish and add the chopped onion.
Add salt and pepper.
Brush chicken with oil and lemon mixture.
Pour the rest of the chicken.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix the sauce ingredients, using a small whisk.
After 20 minutes, pour the sauce over the chicken and turn several times the pieces to coat.
Bake again for 20 minutes, basting the chicken 2 times.

Sprinkle with watercress leaves and serve.
